CALL FOR PAPERS: LÁÀŃGBÀSÀ - VOLUME 26, 2026
Láàńgbàsà is currently accepting manuscripts for Volume 26 (2026), scheduled for publication in the fourth quarter of 2026. Láàńgbàsà is a peer-reviewed academic journal published annually by the Department of Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos, Nigeria. The journal is devoted to the publication of well-researched scholarly articles in Yorùbá studies, including but not limited to language, stylistics, culture, history, and literature.
Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be written in modern Yorùbá orthography. An assessment fee of ₦10,000.00 is required upon submission.
- Contributors should submit typed manuscripts, double-line spaced, in Times New Roman, 12-point font size, and not exceeding 20 pages.
- The journal adopts the APA referencing style (6th Edition).
- Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words, written in both English and Yorùbá, with five (5) keywords.
- Upon acceptance, contributors are required to pay a publication fee of ₦30,000.00 per article.
