LÁÀŃGBÀSÀ (VOLUME 26, 2026): CALL FOR PAPERS

Láàńgbàsà  is currently accepting manuscripts for volume 26 (2026), scheduled to be published in the fourth quarter of 2026. Láàńgbàsà is a peer-reviewed academic journal published annually by the Department of Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos, Nigeria. It is devoted to the publication of well-researched articles in Yorùbá studies comprising language, stylistics, culture, history or literataure. 

 

v  Your manuscript should be written in modern Yorùbá orthography with an accompany fees of N10,000.00 for the assessment of the manuscript.

v  Contributors are expected to submit their typed manuscript double line spaced in Times New Roman, 12-point size, and not more than 20 pages.

v  The referencing format of the journal is based on APA style 6^th Edition.

v  An abstract of not more than 250 words should be written in English and Yorùbá with five (5) keywords.

v  Contributors are expected to pay a sum of N30,000.00 per article once accepted for publication.

  Láàńgbàsà is currently accepting manuscripts for Volume 26 (2026), scheduled for publication in the fourth quarter of 2026. Láàńgbàsà is a peer-reviewed academic journal published annually by the Department of Linguistics, African and Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Lagos, Nigeria. The journal is devoted to the publication of well-researched scholarly articles in Yorùbá studies, including but not limited to language, stylistics, culture, history, and literature.

  Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be written in modern Yorùbá orthography. An assessment fee of ₦10,000.00 is required upon submission.
  • Contributors should submit typed manuscripts, double-line spaced, in Times New Roman, 12-point font size, and not exceeding 20 pages.
  • The journal adopts the APA referencing style (6th Edition).
  • Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words, written in both English and Yorùbá, with five (5) keywords.
  • Upon acceptance, contributors are required to pay a publication fee of ₦30,000.00 per article.
